Recently in my English 1A class, I was given an assignment to write about privilege. I wont go into what that is. we'll save that for a longer discussion.
But the underlying statement is that privilege exists every day. Now passion and privilege have a connection. It is very short and simple. If you have privilege you realize that you have certain opportunities available to you. You realize that you can make a difference and do something on your own. If you dont have that privilege, those same opportunities are probably not available. or not that they arent available but that they just arent realized.
But the truth is that regardless of your privilege, passion is in every one. You just have to fight to get what you want. If you want it go get it...period
